HP42S -- New Cadastral Program Version

A new version of the Nikkel/Taylor HP42S Cadastral Program has recently been revised and tested by AP Nikkel. The original copy has been distributed by the Department of Surveying Otago University since 1991 and the new version is also available from that source.

A Windows pop-up calculator version of the HP42S is also available with the HP42S Cadastral Program pre-loaded. The program can run under "Windows OS" or "Palm OS" operating systems at present. See further note on this forum.

HP42S -- Lives Again???

The HP42S reviewed as "one of the best HP programmable calculators ever built" went out of production in 1995.

A Windows pop-up calculator version of the HP42S calculator (full emulation of all functions and program capability) is available. The program can run under "Windows OS" or "Palm OS" operating systems at present. However the author Thomas Okken intends to write a Pocket Windows and/or Windows CE version in the near future.
